So something awesome happened to me today
been there.

been there.

The end of a journey

You finish a book and there is a moment where you feel wonderful because hopefully you enjoyed what you spent hours/days/weeks/months reading. Then, if you are in the same boat that I am, that moment is followed by a moment of sadness because the book you just completed is part of a series and the next book won’t be out for at least another year. This my friends is why sometimes I wish I didn’t start a series until it was already completely written. Then you don’t face the agonizing months upon months of waiting to find out what happens to your beloved characters. Although, then you would have to wait years to even start the series to begin with…. It is a double edged sword my friends. Alas, I will have to wait until next spring to find out what happens to Alan and if his journey continues as planned. Until then, I will have to discover other characters and adventures to preoccupy my mind and thoughts.
